Origami, the plug&play radiator designed by Alberto Meda, was included in ITALIAN DESIGN EXCELLENCE, the exhibition dedicated to Italian design that was held for the first time from 13th to 16th November 2019 in Singapore.

The exhibition presented a selection of 13 companies awarded in the previous years with ADI Compasso D'Oro Award, the oldest and most authoritative international design award.

Origami, that was awarded with the Compasso d'Oro in 2018, was exhibited among the 13 projects on display, in its free-standing version.

The aim of the exhibition is to present the impact of industrial design in the modernization of everyday life. In this context, Origami is the perfect expression of the technological and aesthetic research activity of Italian industry, applied to the heating sector.

The exhibition, organized by ADI - the Italian Association for Industrial Design - in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and the Embassy of Italy, was hosted in a prestigious setting of the historic colonial The Arts House, the former Parliament building which today has become a multidisciplinary art venue that hosts art exhibitions and concerts.
