Astro, designed by Luca Nichetto for Tubes Radiatori, has won the Red Dot Design Award, in the PRODUCT DESIGN section, in the most prestigious category: “Best of the Best” – an important recognition confirming the product’s high-quality design and functionality.
Astro was selected by a panel of international design experts who tested over 5,500 products in their “search for good design and innovation”. They only awarded the Red Dot stamp of quality to products that stood out for these characteristics.
Astro, which is part of the Plug&Play Collection, is a small electric heating object which effortlessly brings warmth where it is needed and then, surprisingly, purifies the air.
The 2019 Red dot Product Design awards ceremony will be held on Monday 8th July in Essen, at the Aalto-Theater and the Red Dot Design Museum.
