Tubes was chosen by six architecture studios for DEMO Hotel‘s exclusive rooms, an experimental one-of-a-kind hotel project.
The outcome of the refurbishment of a disused hotel on the Romagna coast, DEMO Hotel was the work of 14 architecture studios brought into the project by Mauro Santinato, president of Teamwork Hospitality.
The hotel’s rooms were each designed by a different architect expressing his or her idea of hospitality, thus contributing to the creation of a permanent showroom set in a functioning hotel.
The DRAMA restroom, designed by Laura Verdi, was devoted to Italian opera heroines and contains Milano, a designer radiator which is the work of Antonia Astori and Nicola De Ponti and known for its sinuous and sculptural form, and Montecarlo, ideal for hotels and designed by Peter Jamieson.
CIRCLE ROOM, designed by Silvia Ticchi, is a fluid physical-barrier-less, profoundly harmonious space in which Tubes is present with Soho, an exceptional heat output radiator designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba.
Fragment Hospitality, on the other hand, generated an immersive experience with the IN A LIGHT WAVE design, a suite which encompasses a wellness area in which Tubes is present with a Square equipped with a handle, designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, and a minimalist radiator from the Ixsteel line.
TROPICANA CLUB by Rizoma Architetture is an explosion of forms and colour that evokes pop atmospheres, which includes a Bath 20 heated towel rail and a RIFT/reverse heating shelf, ideal for hotels wanting a convenient place for folded towels.
INTO THE CLOUD, designed by Studio Vannucchi, an invitation to lightness amplified by the presence of Square, a slender ‘heat leaf’ which, together with Eve, also designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, warms up the space and gives a feeling of wellbeing.
SEA SUITE brings this journey to an end as a penthouse on the top floor designed by Studio Bizzarro. It is a space made up of light, tactile experiences, aromas and colours in which the Tubes centre-stage players are the Step-by-Step pleated radiator designed by Alberto Meda and the iconic Scaletta by Elisa Giovannoni.
Diverse heating solutions for equally diverse spaces: at DEMO hotel Tubes showcased its ability to respond to the hotel world’s various functional needs with its “made-to-measure warmth”.
