The Murano Gallery LUAB 4.0 was recently inaugurated in Murano. A space with multiple souls that involves TUBES as key player in the interior refurbishment and design project.
The joint effort of four partners, Francesco Scarpa, Ivano Seno, Andrea Perotta and Master glass-blower and designer Fabio Fornasier, who also represents its creative mind, Murano Gallery LUAB 4.0 houses a furnace and an area consisting of several rooms which can be used as an exhibition space or to host different events.
A multifunctional area of 1,500 square metres surrounded by an outdoor area that has been embellished by the graceful poetry of a vertical garden. A place filled with memories, which has come back to life today thanks to a painstaking restoration process.
The refurbishment project, which lasted two years, focused on the desire to preserve as much as possible the intrinsic identity of the venue, to bring it back to its original splendour, just the way it was when it first opened 150 years ago.
A new reference chosen as a particularly suitable frame to showcase the DNA of TUBES products and their sculptural appeal, each one capable of lending a different relevance to every setting.
TUBES is present at the Murano Gallery LUAB 4.0 with some of the most famous radiators in its collection. Soho and Square designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, Milano by Antonia Astori and Nicola De Ponti, Rift by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba with Matteo Fiorini and add-On by Satyendra Pakhalé embellish the project with their architectural and artistic contribution.
In the rooms, Tubes radiators blend in seamlessly with their surroundings, confirming the sculptural appeal that distinguishes them and which has put them in a position to be the perfect fit in museum exhibitions dedicated to internationally-renowned design (Milano in the permanent design collection at Die Neue Sammlung Museum in Munich and add-On in the permanent collection at the Centre George Pompidou in Paris and in the Museum of Fine Arts in Montreal).
