New accolades for the Scaletta radiator designed by Elisa Giovannoni for Tubes. After winning the German Design Award in the Bath and Wellness category and being picked for publication in the ADI Design Index 2015, Scaletta is “Honoree” for the Best of Year 2015 award organised by the prestigious American magazine, Interior Design, and has won the Good Design Award 2015, the international design award which is assigned to the most innovative creations in the year.
The Good Design Award was set up in 1950 and it is organised by the Chicago Athenaeum – a museum of architecture and design – in conjunction with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies, and it is one of the most internationally acclaimed design awards. For the 2015 edition, the Chicago Athenaeum received thousands of works originating from over 47 different countries. Among these, an influential jury consisting of a panel of experts selected 900 designs from more than 38 countries, deemed to be excellent in the world of design and awarded this prestigious accolade. All the winning products and graphic designs will be published in the Good Design 2015-2016 Annual.
