Tubes was awarded in Germany with the prestigious “Red Dot: Best of the Best” within the Red Dot Design Award 2019, an important international design competition, whose origins date back to 1955.
The awards ceremony for the “Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019” was held on 8 July 2019 in Essen at the Aalto-Theater and the Red Dot Design Museum in the presence of around 1200 guests.
Cristiano Crosetta (CEO Tubes Radiatori), Antonia Crosetta (Brand and Promotion Manager) and Francesco Dompieri of Studio Nichetto, who designed the winning product for Tubes, personally received the award on stage during the Red Dot Gala.
In fact, the heating element and air purifier Astro, selected by a jury of international experts who, under the sing of “good design and innovation research”, tested over 5500 products and granted the Red Dot quality prize only to products that stand out for these characteristics.
