The ADI Design Museum was inaugurated in Milan to host the Compasso d’Oro Collection, the biggest accolade in the world of design at international level since 1954.

In 2018 Tubes was awarded the XXV Compasso d’Oro with Origami, a heating element with a dual function, designed by Alberto Meda, officially making design history.

Within the ADI Design Museum, a special focus will be given to Origami by Tubes within the permanent exhibition dedicated to the Historic Compasso Collection curated by Beppe Finessi.

High-efficiency electric plug&play radiator, Origami will be on the stage in the free-standing version (H 83.4 and H 163.5 cm) and in the wall version (double module) alongside technical diagrams, sketches, prototype elements and illustrative material showing the design and manufacturing process.

We are honoured to be contributing to representing the expressive wealth of design made in Italy - states Cristiano Crosetta, CEO of Tubes - and thrilled to see our product liaise with extraordinary stars of creativity and culture, within this exciting and explanatory venue, which is a benchmark for the international community.
